Don’t try to isolate the stomach muscles. Belly fat, like other body fat, cannot be spot reduced. Body fat will need to be removed with a combination of diet and exercise from all areas of your body where it is stored.
A great natural bile stimulant and acid reflux preventer. It keeps the stomach pH levels balanced so you will have a flatter tummy and look hot in that bikini! Add a capful to half a glass of water and drink after you wake up.
Breakfast: Leftover Quiche. Last night’s sweet potato quiche reheats beautifully for a quick breakfast you’ll look forward to all night (hint: save the recipe from dinner to make for an impressive brunch go-to!)

Belly fat is stored energy. Accordingly, to lose belly fat you have to lose energy or, to put it more simply, you have to burn more calories (energy) than you eat. There is no way round it, try anything else and you’ll join the ranks of those who every year tries out the newest, craziest diet that promises everything and yield nothing. To lose belly fat you need to stick to a calorie controlled diet. However, there is much more you can do than simply reducing your calorie intake to lose belly fat.
1. Stop Doing Crunches. Crunches will strengthen your stomach muscles, but won’t burn the belly fat that covers your abs. Spot reduction is a myth. You’re wasting time & effort doing 200 daily crunches.
2. The Bicycle: This is one of the best exercises for flat, well-defined abs. Lie on the floor with just your fingertips touching the back of your head. Bring your right elbow to your left knee as you straighten your right leg. Switch sides and continue to pedal. Do 1-3 sets with 15-25 repetitions.
Pears and apples are also high in water content. Eat them with the peels for extra fiber, which will keep you full longer. Go for whole fruits rather than fruit juice. You’ll get more fiber, and you have to chew the fruits. This takes longer and you’ll burn a few calories chewing, as opposed to gulping down a smoothie.
10. Stay Motivated. Looking at your belly or in the mirror gives you inaccurate feedback. What you see is influenced by food intake, water retention, light and your own perception. Self-image issues can make the last one tricky.
Strain the weight loss tea and add some lemon and honey when the tea has cooled down (excessive heat will destroy the benefits of honey). Honey and lemon have their own health benefits that can increase the potency of this wonderful tea.

If you’re like a high percentage of adults, including even many young adults, losing extra fat around your midsection is one of the biggest obstacles along your weight loss journey. Often, it’s referred to as “stubborn fat” because no matter what you do, it doesn’t seem to budge much. It can be maddening!
1. Apples – There is wisdom to saying, an apple a day keeps the doctor away. In a Brazilian weight study, subjects who ate three apples a day while dieting lost more weight than those who didn’t. This fruit contains pectin, a compound that is known to inhibit colon cancer. Apples are packed with nutrients and are a rich source of vitamin C, beta-carotene, dietary fiber, phytosterol, flavonoids, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals.
