i have been eating organic ginger slices from trader joes and this helps with chronic diarrhea. I have scleroderma and inflammatory arthritis. because i am not able to exercise as much as i used to i have developed some belly fat. i began trying belly dance. I am very stiff inflexible to begin with. the combination of the ginger and the basic belly dance movements have reduced my loose belly without changing my diet. I do hip thrusts (4X15) using only 10lbs.will i get negative results if i do them every other day?i dont want them to get weaker if im overworking them.but with 10lbs i dnt think that is damaging enough.im trying to figure out a way to get my glutes on the most ideal workout for maximum muscle benefits!

Hi Kay… I don’t believe in portion size. In my book it’s a gimmick. I eat until I’m satisfied… period. As far as the other things you indicated… NOT SURE… everybody responds differently to food. I mean, there’s not a single study that can claim “difinitively” that raw veggies are going to make you lose more weight than cooked. (at least I’ve never read one). I try to eat raw whenever possible just because they tend to retain more nutrient density. Also, I don’t see why 93% would be any better OR worse than 90% or there about. I mean… you can really “split hairs” but for some people a fattier cut actually burns more fat. I try to eat my meats as leans as possible, but don’t fret when they are a little “fattier”.
