Before I packed on my lean muscle I was the skinniest kid on the block. I remember when I first received my driver’s license I was 6’1″ and weighed only 165 lbs. I can still remember how hard I worked in the gym over a summer vacation and packed on 30+ lbs. of lean muscle for my senior year in high school. I kept asking myself, “what is the best diet for belly fat?”

Also genetics plays a role in carrying more belly fat, but that doesn’t mean you’re doomed to look like a sumo wrestler the rest of your life. Eating less sugar is something that has been proven to reduce visceral belly fat and it’s something all of us can do (at least those of us with willpower).
Parsley has many, many health benefits, including reducing effects of diarrhoea, improving digestion, regulating the menstrual cycle increasing the rate of urination, which means that more matter is expelled from the body, including more calories and thus reducing weight loss. The diuretic aspect of parsley juice also means that it detoxifies the body faster than other drinks, and acts as an appetite suppressant making you feel fuller than you are.
If your testosterone levels are high — something that can occur with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) — you might have difficulty losing weight. “If you’re an apple shape and overweight, it’s a good idea to see your doctor,” Dr. Kashyap says, since there may also be a chance that you are prediabetic or diabetic.
Accidentally purchased this thinking it was the hardcover cookbook in paperback. (Checked out the hardcover cookbook from the library and loved it) The print for this paperback is so small I need to wear my cheater glasses and sadly NONE of the recipes I liked from the cookbook are in this book because it barely includes 1/4 of the recipes. I did like the added exercise program but the other 2/4 of the book is a waste of space. Hardcover cookbook is definitely a better choice if you’re interested. It explains the diet with less chapters and you can actually read it!
Eat more of the right kinds of foods. Replace white breads, pastas, fatty meats and sugars with fruits and vegetables. Your plate may be more full than it was before, as long 1/2 to 2/3 of the meal is vegetables.

4. Strike a pose. Chris Jensen, from Huntington Beach, CA, has been doing yoga daily for over 20 years. “I started it because I wanted to relax,” she says. “But I also began noticing subtle changes, such as tightening and strengthening of my ab muscles, within four months.” [pagebreak]
Insulin activity shuts down any fat releasing activity of other hormones like cortisol, and therefore accentuates the negative fat storing effects. Adding cortisol to insulin is like pouring gasoline on a fire. The two together — with excess calories — are the real culprits in fat gain around the middle.
First, avoid unhealthy fats, processed foods, and don’t indulge in fast food – read my article about 8 foods to avoid to keep belly fat away. You should also avoid these 10 fake foods and also make sure that your food doesn’t contain these ingredients. Also reduce your sugar intake, especially refined sugars. You will gain much more than just losing weight as I’ve mentioned in my article about 6 things that happen to your body when you quit sugar.
