If you’re taking lots of vitamins and probiotics each day, you may want to reevaluate your strategy. Increased levels of B vitamins have long been associated with a higher prevalence of obesity and diabetes, perhaps because megadosing triggers our fat genes. A daily multivitamin is probably fine, but don’t try to convince yourself that more is better. And a recent study by ConsumerLab.com found that most commercial probiotics have far less healthy bacteria than they claim. Your better bet is to focus on the Zero Belly foods to ensure your belly is getting plenty of love—and your fat genes are being cut off at the pass.
It is recommended to take around 6 grams of fish oil a day, which is around 1 tablespoon of fish oil. Alternatively, you can eat fish such as salmon, mackerel, and tuna twice a week to get enough omega 3 fatty acids.
Not all white foods are bad for weight-loss. In fact, plain boiled potatoes are the most filling food there is, according to the Satiety Index of Common Foods, an Australian study published in the European Journal of Clinical Nutrition. To maximize their flat-belly benefits, throw ’em in the refrigerator and make a potato salad. The cooling process will crystallize the tubers into resistant starch, which takes longer to break down in your intestine, producing fat-burning butyrate and hunger pangs.
What it gets down to is, avoid processed stuff, and don’t be afraid of eggs, cheese, butter, and the like. I’ve dropped 30 pounds in a couple of months by drinking raw goat milk, a cup or two a day, little to no exercise (I have ankle issues due to a club foot, though no doubt as I lose the weight there’ll be less stress on it). If you can cut sugar and avoid the processed stuff, that’s huge right there.
Whichever you prefer! Many recipes will cater to 2-4 people, so either cook more (and freeze if possible) or share with someone else or adjust the recipe accordingly, to make one serving. Whichever works best for you and your situation. Thanks for your comment!

The key for how to lose belly fat is about making the most out of your meals – that means getting lots of nutrients and vitamins, not calories! Making sure you eat properly is vital for your health (not to mention weight loss) at all meals, but sadly, lunch is often the meal that we end up skipping the most. Whether it’s because we’re too busy to eat or opt for larger breakfasts or dinners instead, we often give lunch a miss. Or even when we do allow ourselves a little bit to eat in the middle of the day, it’s often a quick and hasty affair. That means unhealthy food choices and not allowing our bodies enough time to digest properly. All of which can cause health problems. For anyone who wants to learn how to lose belly fat, getting clued up on these lunchtime tricks is essential.

This gel can dramatically slow the movement of food through your stomach and small bowel, and slow down the digestion and absorption of nutrients. The end result is a prolonged feeling of fullness and reduced appetite (32).
Great article, I would add one thing and that is lemon water every day at least two glasses, or 24 oz! In the morning is best and maybe after lunch! Oh and eat your big protein meals in the morning and afternoon followed by a light dinner and most definitely dark chocolate (small) portion for dessert! You won’t be hungry at all!!
Use ginger as a spice in your cooking whenever you can to increase your ginger intake. Cooking ginger for a short period of up to 6 minutes actually enhances its health benefits (as you can read in my article about the health benefits of cooked and dried ginger). Luckily, ginger has a tasty flavor that doesn’t need to be “masked” in order to reap the rewards the plant has to offer.
